Sandra joined UWAS as a life member in 1996. As an educator, textbook writer and language consultant, Sandra is a strong believer in the value of education and training as a means of improving the status of women and girls. Accordingly, she has served in various capacities on the UWAS Executive Committee throughout the years. She has counted herself blessed to have served under inspiring UWAS leaders who have been instrumental in initiating and promoting various UWAS educational and training initiatives to help disadvantaged women and girls to reach their full potential. During her term as President, the Prisons Programme was initiated.
Sandra currently serves as the GWI Representative on behalf of GWAS.
