Life is short and every second of it is precious.
Julie Yeap is a U.S. Certified Public Accountant, ISCA Professional Business Accountant, and an accomplished international facilitator, trainer, executive coach and learning consultant. She spent the first 15 years of her career with Ernst & Young Singapore (EY), where she started as an Auditor and later transferred to the Learning & Development (L&D) department to pursue her passion to become a trainer. As a Director, Julie headed the L&D function for the ASEAN region where she was responsible for driving the learning and development initiatives for EY in 14 countries. Currently, Julie is the Managing Director of a corporate training and executive coaching firm and she was the Honorary Treasurer of the Asia Pacific Alliance of Coaches (APAC) from 2017 to 2019.
Julie started volunteering when she was attending university in Hawaii. Other than studying and working, volunteering would always give her a sense of satisfaction when she was able to use her knowledge and skills to help others and give back to the society. She has volunteered in many different types of non-profit organisations. One non-profit organisation that is dear to her heart is the Chinese Development Assistance Council (CDAC) where she has been a volunteer since 2005 to help children from underprivileged families.
GWAS is honoured to have Julie as our Honorary Treasurer.
