Graduate Women Association Singapore (GWAS) is committed to respect your privacy. This Privacy Statement sets out the Privacy Policy and practices of GWAS with respect to the collection, use and/or disclosure of personal data provided by its members. This statement is provided in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act (Act 26 of 2012) (the “PDPA”)

If you log on to the Site, we will only use the information you provide us with to respond to your requests. Personal information will only be retained for as long as necessary. We do not share personal information with third parties. We do not sell personal information. All personnel with access to personal information have been trained to maintain its confidentially.

Please note that this Privacy Policy complements, and does not limit or replace, the purposes for which you provide GWAS with your personal data which may be expressly stated in any form of submission of personal data to GWAS.

You hereby agree that the GWAS may collect, store, process, disclose, access, review and/or use personal data (including sensitive personal data) about you whether obtained from you, for the purpose of managing your relationship as a member with GWAS.

If you have provided personal data of individuals to the GWAS, you also confirm that you have sought the requisite consent from these individuals to the collection, use, and disclosure of their personal data.

2. Data Accuracy

You should ensure that all Personal Data submitted to GWAS is complete, accurate, true and correct. Where there are any inaccuracies, you must inform GWAS of the correction to be made as soon as possible.

• GWAS will take reasonable steps to protect the personal data it holds from misuse and loss and from unauthorised access, modification or disclosure.
• GWAS will not keep personal data for longer that is necessary and take reasonable steps to destroy or permanently de-identify personal data if it is no longer needed.
