Zerline Chan was introduced to volunteerism in Secondary School as a Red Cross Youth. In University, she volunteered at Habitat for Humanity where she befriended the elderly and helped them rehabilitate their flats. In this project, she provided support and companionship to the elderly community. Zerline’s passion for volunteerism sparked her to join a non-profit organisation upon graduation from University.
Zerline strongly believes that education is extremely important to the betterment of society especially for the underprivileged. Besides taking on the role of GWAS’s Honorary Secretary, Zerline is responsible for administering GWAS’s Student Enrichment Programme (SEP).
